August - The busiest month of the year for Scottish weddings.

Did you know the total number of marriages in Scotland for 2023 was 25,713 and that the busiest month for Scottish weddings is August.  July and August are generally the most popular months for weddings in the UK overall, and August in Scotland is particularly favored due to a combination of school holidays and the (hoped for) best weather.

Many of our sgian dubs are bought by grooms, or brides as special gifts for the groom, for their wedding day attire.  While the bride will no doubt outshine the groom, it does no harm for the groom to look his best for the big day too!
